Bucks County River Country, also known as River Country, patrons leaving from Point Pleasant, PA are welcome to stop by and purchase fresh island BBQ from us when river tubing, rafting, canoeing or kayaking down the Delaware River. Bucks County River Country customers may use cash or credit card when purchasing food and drink. All of our mouth-watering hot dogs, delicious island burgers, sizzling chicken sandwiches, crunchy nachos with cheese and juicy veggie burgers are all made fresh and we are NJ Board of Health approved in Hunterdon County!
River Country: Directions to visit the Famous River Hot Dog Man & Adventure Island
- River Country Tubing: Tubers who are river tubing with River Country have (3) different entrance points along the Delaware River. River tubers from the 2-hour trip will be dropped off by the Treasure Island entrance in Point Pleasant, PA. The first island is Adventure Island, so make sure to paddle left as soon as you enter so that you don't miss the hot dog man. After paddling left, the Famous River Hot Dog Man can be found on the eastern (left side as you float down river) side of the island.
- River Country Rafting: Raft out of the New Life Island channel and follow signs along the river (signs are posted on both the Pennsylvania and New Jersey sides of the Delaware River). Rafters using River Country can enjoy small class I rapids on both sides of the river, but make sure to follow the signs to the Hot Dog Man!
- River Country Kayaking: Kayak out of the New Life Island channel and follow signs along the river (signs are posted on both the Pennsylvania and New Jersey sides of the Delaware River). Kayaking down the PA side of the river has some small class I rapids, but we recommend taking the NJ side for a better view of the river. We are approximately half way (3-miles) south of where you begin your river canoe ride with River Country.
- River Country Canoeing: Canoe out of the New Life Island channel and follow signs along the river (signs are posted on both the Pennsylvania and New Jersey sides of the Delaware River). Canoeing down the NJ side of the Delaware is easier to navigate and offers great views in a canoe. River canoe riders with River Country can visit us when river canoeing. We are approximately half way (3-miles) south of where you start on the river canoe ride when you are canoeing with River Country.
